FGGC ABULOMA OLD GIRLS ASSOCIATION (OGA) is a group of ladies who graduated from the Federal Government Girls College Abuloma, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from the first set in 1979 to date.
FGGC Abuloma opened its gates on the 10th of January 1975 to receive its first set of students at its temporary site in Borokiri. The school was located on part of what now makes up the Navy school in Port Harcourt. Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls School Elelenwo and Sea School, Isaka flanked it on either side respectively who were equally on their temporary sites at the time. Mrs M.A.U Okobi, of blessed memory, was the first Principal of the school and she had a solid team of teachers with whom she set the foundations of excellence and diligence with which to guide the thirty-four (34) students who resumed on that first day and all the others who would come through the gates. The school has since moved from Borokiri to its permanent site at Abuloma. Through the years, FGGC Abuloma has produced women who have gone on to conquer their spaces. The school has produced strong and confident women who excel in both private and public spheres. Some have gone to the top of thier different fields and have gained recognition both nationally and internationally.
